Non-U.S. Films & Documentaries

The rules:

  1. Adds up to 3 points to your overall grade. (NOTE: Incomplete answers and grammatical errors will reduce points.)
  2. Assignment: See the movie.
  3. NOTE: Many of these films are available in the ERC. Check the library online catalog.
  4. Save the ticket stub or rental, library or Netflix receipt; or photocopy the DVD cover if borrowed. Attach the receipt/photocopy to this form. Illegal downloads will not count!
  5. Answer the questions below about the film. You can do so on this form by downloading it from the internet, copying it to a word processing document, answering the questions, then printing it out.
  6. No handwritten copies allowed!
  7. USE YOUR OWN WORDS. DO NOT COPY FROM THE INTERNET. DOING SO MEANS YOU WILL FLUNK THE ASSIGNMENT, IF NOT THE COURSE!

4. Read a review of the film. (Hint: Reviews can be found on Movie Review Query Engine.) Do you and the reviewer agree on the film? If you disagree, why? Does it have to do with the period in which the film was made? Give the title of the article, its author and original source with URL. (3-6 sentences.)
